Jay Harris

Hello, my name is Jay Harris. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with technology of all kinds. Ever since I built my first desktop computer in my early teens, I have gained a fair amount of knowledge and hands-on experience with computer hardware and software. In addition, I have over a decade of experience with cross-platform software development, and in the past couple of years have taken up designing websites for both personal use and for local businesses. 

Born in Orlando, Florida and raised in Marietta, Georgia, I graduated with honor from Lassiter High School in 2015. Immediately afterwards, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Kennesaw State University, which I completed in the spring of 2020. During my time as a student, I was involved in the marching band program as a trombone player. I have a passion for performing music on this instrument as well as others with my friends and fellow musicians. In my spare time I enjoy things such as reading, fitness, playing video games, taking long walks, listening to music, and spending quality time with those dear to me! 

As a helpdesk technician at Atlanta IT Services, my role is to provide top-tier support to our customers for a wide variety of technologies including software, hardware, and networking. I pledge to devote every resource I can to ensure that your network is running smooth and secure.
